This is insane. It's on the level of a fully finished commercial game. I do wish the javelin pushed the player around a bit less, though. But every other thing in this game has such a high level of polish. The backgrounds in particular add so much atmosphere.

I disagree I think the pushing around is the best part of the game! It adds to much more depth of trying not to fall into spkies or even using it two double jump

Using gamepad (Switch Pro-Controller) on the regular (non-speedrun) download the jump is reeeeaaaaaaally short. I can't even clear the second jump. It's fine if I use keyboard, but just thought I'd mention.

I can't believe you did this in 3 days. It's amazing.

The best Jam game I have ever played, hands down. Very clever mechanics (a bit jalous I admit, because I thought about a platformer game with such a mechanic). I hope to see this as a full game in a few years. Huge potential for speedruners !

Bravo

Would 100% buy a full game based on this.  Easily one of the best jam games I've played

This game is just awesome! The feeling of power and freedom that the spear allows... brilliant!

Maybe just one thing: It took me a few deaths to understand the checkpoint system, so it was a bit frustrating.

But, really, awesome!

Awesome movement mechanic <3 Love it! Discovered the game from the twitch streamer 'kuviman' on 24/04/2024

PS: careful the throw sprite is inverted (for example when I throw the spear to the right. it shows the throw animation going/throwing the left direction :-) )

10 minutes into the game, really cool movement mechanics so far!

could you add arrow keys to move ? A and D are really awkward for me on a laptop ...
